Mark Walsh went out of the 2010 Totesport Players Championships on Saturday to Wayne Jones. You would have been hard pressed to think this would happen when Walshie stormed into a 5-2 lead needing only 3 more legs to reach the Quarters. Jones hit back and gradually closed the gap and then pounced on mistakes to reel off 6 straight legs and complete an 8-5 win. Jones now faces either El Matador or the King in the Quarter Finals.

Speaking to ITV after the match Walshie was obviously dissapointed that he couldnt regain his form in a similar way to yesterday, when overcoming a quiet spell in the middle of the game. "I didnt play very well and neither did Wayne" When asked about his record vs Jones , Walshie joked "I hate the geezer, he has a good record against me, Well played Wayne"
